Q. I have heard about the qld state government solar hot water rebate. What are the conditions.
A. The QLD state government has put in place a rebate that is $1000 for pensioners and low income earners and $600 for anybody else. Conditions apply, but it is basically for replacing an electric hot water system.
Q. Am I eligible for a rebate?
A. if you are replacing an electric hot water system, with a solar hot water system, then you are entitled to a $1000 reabte, whether or not we install it for you. The rebate is claimed back after your system is installed. There are also state rebates, depending on what state you are in. if you request a quote we will explain what other rebates you may be entitled to. Note all rebates depend on licensed plumber doing the sign off on the system. Check with local council.
Q. What is a REC?
A. Every solar hot water system is entitled to a certain amount of REC's (Renewable Energy Certificates) most of the systems we sell recieve 31-33. Put simply the power companies must comply with government regulations on the amount of energy they produce from renewable sources. If they cannot meet the target, they must buy REC's to make up the short fall. We give them to you as a point of sale discount and claim them back on your behalf
Q. what is the warranty of your systems?
A. 5 years tank and panels and 2 years parts and labour
Q. Can I install the solar system myself
A. A licensed plumber is the best person for the install. However depending on your local regulations you may be able to do some of the install, to save you money. Check with your local council.
Q. what areas do you sell to?
A. Anywhere in the Eastern states. We have plumbers all over the place that we contract on a regular basis to do install. Give us a call and we will get your system installed.
Q. What does it cost
A. There is no such a thing as a standard install, but it is a lot more affordable than you think.
Q. What happens if something goes wrong.
A. Depending on the system we sell you and if we do the install. But contact us on 1300 722 692 and we will help. Even if you did your own install

With the announcement of the Qld state governments $600-$1000 state rebate, the phone are running of the hook. So yes we are still offering solar hot water systems for under $1000 out of pocket after rebates are claimed back and yes we still fill out all the government paper work.

The QLD state government has just announced that they will provide a rebate of between $600 to $1000 for you to change over to a solar hot water system. This is great news for anybody wanting to reduce their power bills.
